Summit County 2022 Lincoln Day Dinner
When: Saturday, May 28, 2022

Building on last year’s musical performance and audience support, the band will return playing some of the all-time Big Band favorites recognized by the 800+ people in attendance. The evening starts with an hour of traditional dinner music from Gershwin, Mancini and others. After the Speaker’s Table program presentation, the host rolls up the carpet for a mix of ever-popular dance tunes from swing, foxtrot and Latin favorites.

The band is also preparing special event oriented musical presentations including The Battle Hymn of the Republic and the Star Spangled Banner. The Moonlight Serenaders Big Band continues to provide professionally performed music that crosses multi-generations, tastes, and dance styles. This event will bring out the best of the band in musical diversity, tasteful music that matches the event and audience with controlled volume for an enjoyable evening of conversation, dance, and Guest Speakers.
